The Ballycotton 10 mile online entry for club runners (Athletics Ireland members) is now open. We are posting this because of the very short entry window compared to other races. The online entry closes tomorrow at midnight, Friday 10th December. This race sells out each year and the race date is Sunday March 6th 2016. There is also postal entry till December 17th, see link for details below.

Sportsworld has a rich history in East Cork; in 1984 head coach Emily Dowling finished the 10 mile course in 57:42. That was the same year that Mick Dowling ran 56:13. After a year of listening to Mick, Emily returned to Ballycotton in 1985 to run a stunning 56:00!
