Donore Harriers held the first running of their 5km road race in the phoenix park last saturday. On a fairly miserable morning with overcast weather and a light drizzle the field of 321 runners set off. Joe Byrne was the first Sportsworld man home in a flashy new pair of races ( and i even managed to see and include him in the report this week). Lucy wasn’t far behind with Tara Murphy closing off our account on the day.
