A big congratulations to Catriona Jennings from Sportsworld who won the 2011 Flora Womens Mini Marathon in a time of 35 minutes and 28 seconds. An additional congratulations is due to all Sportsworld club runners who each ran a great race yesterday.
Over 40,000 women took part in the Flora mini-marathon, organisers claim the event is the biggest all-women event in the world. An estimated €14m was raised by participants for charities all over Ireland in 2010’s race.
